Jamie Lynn Spears, youngest sister of the famous singer Britney Spears surely known to be in the lime light, in all the ways, all the time. Here is a short tour of her life. Early Life She was born on 4th of April, 1991, in Kentwood, Louisiana. She was named as Jamie Lynn Marie Spears. She was the youngest of three siblings; the eldest one being Britney Spears, the famous singer. Her father is a building contractor, while her mother is school grade teacher. Her parents are divorced. She has a strong liking for sports. She was into cheer leading and gymnastics when she was in Parklane Academy, (Mississippi), where she was attending her school and from where she received her GED in February, 2008. Acting Career Her acting career started at an early age as the Spears family was trying to help out promoting Britney Spears acting career, in New York. New York was the place where most of her child hood was spent. Under the influence of showbiz exposure and her inborn acting capabilities, she started getting roles in commercials and television plays. Her main performances could be summarized as follows. She appeared in Totally Britney Live in 2001. In 2002, she performed in a Pepsi commercial on T.V and performed the brief role of young Lucy (adult Lucy being played by Britney Spears) in the movie Cross Roads. She performed for two seasons in All That, a comedy variety show. She also took part in the programme On Air Dare Skits. In 2004, she got her own show Zoey 101 on Nick. Apart from these, she performed various parts as guest star. Awards She is a great performer and the awards and nominations she has received speak for her. Kids Choice Awards: She was nominated for the Favourite television actress in 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2008. She won this award in 2006. Teen Choice Awards: She was nominated in 2005 for choice T.V Breakout performance. Young Artist Awards: She was nominated for the Best Young Ensemble in 2005, and she was nominated and won the same award in 2006 and 2007. Young Hollywood Awards: She won the One to Watch Award in 2005. A Young Mom She shocked the world when in December 2007; she declared that she was already three months pregnant. Her pregnancy was highly controversial as she was only 16 at that time. Her long time boyfriend Casey Aldridge, only19 years old himself was the expecting father. They got engaged in April 2008, but decided to delay their wedding. Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a healthy daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridgeon on June 19, 2008 in Mississippi.
