After many years experience in translating texts from English and/or German into Spanish I have come to the conclusion that a direct translation done out of my own brain and work is better and preferable to a machine translation, which usually shows errors and has to be thoroughly edited. This applies mainly to literary translations, whereas scientific and/or technical texts may be translated quite well by means of translation software.
